Gymnast Carlos Yulo just earned his 4th gold medal in the 31st Southeast Asian Games, leading the country’s gold medal haul.
On Monday, Yulo ruled the men's vault final with a score of 14.700. The event took place at the Quan Ngua Sports Palace in Hanoi, Vietnam.
Tikumporn Surintornta of Thailand nabbed the silver with a final tally of 14.250 while Juancho Besana settled for the bronze medal with a score of 14.017.
The Filipino athlete earlier bagged three gold medals in the men's all-around, rings, and floor exercise.
As of Tuesday, May 17, the Philippines already has 30 gold medals, 34 silver medals, and 44 bronze medals.
Ph is currently 3rd in the overall rankings, following host country Vietnam and Thailand.
